This wedding makes me smile.
Alyce booked us a long time ago soon after being bridesmaid at Louise & Mat's wedding we filmed last September. When she called a couple of months ago to say that her venue had double booked her, I was devastated for her. Yes, I know! For all you brides planning your wedding don't freak out. This is the first time we have experienced this in 7 years! But after a bit of calling around and dare I say it, stressing out, she secured another venue and another date and managed to keep all the wedding suppliers she had already booked.
Then as the day approached to say the weather forecast was not promising would have been an understatement. With hail storms promised for that afternoon Alyce's mum booked the penthouse suite just incase the balcony with a view would be rained out.
As you will see from the teaser, there was no rain. The ceremony took place on the balcony with a fantastic Gold Coast skyline background and we made it to the beach for a beautiful photoshoot.
Alyce and Troy are just the nicest, most real people. I love the fun they had throughout the day just being themselves. It was a fun day and we were so pleased to be a part of it.
Oh, in case you are wondering about the blog title: The Wedding Wedding. Troy's surname is Wedding. How great is that :)
