Sometimes we need a little to stand up and carry on through trials and hardship. And it's always a little easier when there's someone to stand beside you, to put their arms around you and be there for you, "through thick or thin".
When we first met Chloe earlier in the year she shared with us that they hadn't planned on getting married for another year or so but had rushed everything forward as her father's health was failing and she desperately wanted him to be there when she got married. Her future hubby, Dylan, she told us was happy to let her have whatever she wanted as far as the wedding went.
Sadly her Dad never made it to see his daughter wed but that doesn't mean he wasn't there in spirit. And Chloe and Dylan have kept on, through the tears and trials to make it a special day that everyone could be proud of.
The day was punctuated by some beautiful moments both in memory of Chloe's dad and in celebration of Chloe and Dylan's union. One of these moments was the Maid of Honour, Adriana's toast. She celebrated the joy of marriage and a life well lived. I particularly love the imagery of Chloe being Dylan's 'champion' through life.
"To strength, love and friendship. To Chloe and Dylan" xx
