Wet, wet, wet! After weeks and weeks of sunshine the forecast was for a very rainy weekend with weather warnings current across South East Queensland. When the day arrived, the rain was patchy not bothering our bride at all. ‘She’ll be right’ she answered when asked if the post-ceremony nibblies should be at the farm or back in town.
As luck would have it as the bridal party arrived in three stunning vintage motor vehicles the rain came down, a steady trickle that didn’t stop till they had signed on the line! Then a break for a few photos and then more rain… no one minded, it was cold but the love between Jess and Bruce warmed our hearts.
If I could sum up this day in one word it would be ‘family’. There were people and little kids coming and going from both properties in the morning! Family and friends had come from up north and both sets of parents genuinely welcomed not just the Bride or Groom but their whole families to join them in their homes and on life’s journey together.
Congratulations Jess + Bruce. We wish you rain on your land, sunshine when you need it and love in your hearts. xx
