Can we choose the music for our films?
We love you to let us know your music tastes and choices. We will also ask you to let us know the songs you have chosen for your wedding day. From here we will develop a soundtrack to accompany your wedding film. Remember music is not the focus of our wedding films. You and your story are. The music will be almost incidental. Rest assured that we will choose music that will pull you into and carry you along with the film but what you will remember is not the songs but the stories.

We loved the song you used in the teaser. It is true what you say, the songs you use for the film do become a bit of a soundtrack and we feel like the teaser song is ours now. I heard it in a shop the other day and called Chris because 'our song' was on :) That song makes us happy!
Can we change the music after we have viewed our films?

What cameras do you use?
We don't make a big deal about our cameras and if you were to meet us to talk about your wedding we wouldn't bring them up. But as many brides and grooms are very savvy and are keen to research every aspect of their dream wedding. So here it is...
We are currently using a Canon 5D M11 and two Canon 7D's. They are digital single lens reflex cameras and the same as many wedding photographers use. We love them because they give us a beautiful cinematic feel to our wedding films and a control over the image that we never had with conventional video cameras.
We also have a preference for vintage lenses, combined with a range of newer Canon lenses that help give us our unique look and feel.
Added to our cameras and lenses are a number of tripods, monopods, a slider and a steadi-cam that assist us in capturing beautiful and unique shots that go together to create our films. We are also a bit geeky and love all the new stuff so there is a wish list a mile long!

When will we receive our completed DVD's?
Completion times range from 10 to 25 weeks depending on what time of year your wedding is held and our work load for that time period. We prefer it to be 10 weeks or even less but realistically it is usually 15 - 20 weeks.
Because Lumina is a boutique film studio, we shoot a maximum of one wedding per weekend and on average three weddings per month. This enables the directors and principle filmmakers to handcraft every film we produce.
Can we make changes?
If there is a mistake, error or fault in your wedding film we will fix it free of charge. Re-edits are done at the current hourly charge with a minimum of two hours being charged. A quote will be provided prior to any work commencing.
Can we preview our films before final completion?
We would prefer that you sit down excitedly to enjoy your finished wedding film in a state of blissful delight, expecting it to be wonderful, entertaining and perfect rather than to sit down to review your film with the expectation that it needs work done and something will be wrong.
This is the world premier of your love story... enjoy it for what it is.
How do we book you?
Call us on 1300 132 060 to check if your date is available. If it is we would then like to meet, if possible, this enables us all to get to know each other a little and most importantly help us determine if we are a 'good fit' for you. Sometimes because of distance and other commitments this is not possible and that's ok. You can book without this meeting. We would however want to meet you both prior to your wedding day, even if it is in the week before.
